Pens! So many brands, nibs and colors… so little money. sigh.
Pilot Metropolitan to the rescue! They’re only $15 and they come with a squeeze converter and a cartridge. Even if you add a different converter of $5 it’s still a great bargain! I’m in love with the Fine nib.
I think I need that purple one next!
O is for Olympics (Blogging A to Z)
Ever since I was a child watching Jean-Claude Killy ski down the slopes of Grenoble I’ve been obsessed with the Olympics on TV. Trouble is, my memory doesn’t always remember everything correctly……. Journaling to the rescue.
I can document records.

I love maps, especially those of vacation spots. They add so much to a travel journal.
When there’s a map in your sketchbook you won’t have to stop to grab an atlas or even check Google Maps on your phone. It’s at your fingertips.

Lettering quotes in my journal is meditative. It takes time, time to reflect on how the words are a part of me. Time to reflect on the soul of art.
